Today our hygienist volunteered at the Junior league Care Fair in SLC, UT.
For those of you who might not know the organization, it's a well known group that gives no cost medical services to the community members who sign up. Physical health is the focus at the care fair and one of the greater response is that from the dental clinic provided. Patients are offered a free cleaning/oral cancer exam/treatment exam/and hygiene aids while at the clinic. Then patients are either given treatment vouchers or a list of recommended clinics that would be able to do basic treatment for less cost.
